blechhh

Today Gerald is eight weeks old!

And I am fat.

I lost all of the weight I had gained while pregnant within a week of his delivery, everything is not back in place, but the number on the scale was good (at the time). A week after that I stopped wearing my maternity clothes and had dropped down to the weight I was after my first trimester (I had lost some weight because of morning sickness). I was feeling good, and couldn't wait to see how fast I could get back to being my "skinny" weight.

That was six weeks ago. In six weeks I have gained and lost the same 4 pounds over and over again.

I blame the Easter Bunny and cadburry creme eggs. Good thing there aren't any left.

Now, I'm off to walk my baby, and eat some veggies :) I really don't want to be the fat mom.

Congrats on losing the pregnancy weight!!!! I am sure you will continue losing more since you have a little one to carry around. I never made it back to my pre-tin weight before getting pregnant again.

I think you looked great for just having a baby! I'm so glad we got to see you and G. last night. You have to visit again soon! :)

Don't worry about it. I have gained and lost the same 4 pounds for the last 16 months. It's the result of my babies, so I try to love it, but it is frustrating!

I just realized how much I suck. You're in town, and I totally started an email to see what times you had free like 3 times. Now it's already Wed night and I've missed you again. :( One of these times, I will get my poo together!

not to be captain bringdown - but your body will never be the same or carry weight in the same way. I lost all of the alex weight and then some, but my hips are still weird and my fupa (front upper p* area) is bigger. You can still lose weight and look awesome, but clothes just never fit the same, in my experience.

1) Give or take 4 lbs. does not make you fat.
2) Happy 8 week old b-day to JJ

fupa, i'm dying laughing, omg

and you are beautiful. keep enjoying the semi-nice weather and walking that little one. it'll come off.

2.75 years later, and I'm at pre-preg weight finally. with slightly wider hips and slightly saggier boobs. Oh well.
