a little sunshine

It's snowy and cold today.

My neighbor took care of our sidewalk! I shall pay him in baked goods! (take that, other neighbor who prefers to watch me shovel during nap time. no treats for you!)

I finished a project, it's making me happy :)

ooh, bunting!

Heather inspired me.

And I was totally going to make little fabric roses, but my goal was to use yarn from my stash, and when I finished wrapping the wreath form, I felt like bunting was more appropriate.

Plus, I can do this:

all decked out for Valentine's Day

Next week we have a birthday at our house - I'm thinking a pic of the birthday boy will be pretty fantastic pinned to the wreath, and a shamrock after that, etc...

Happy Friday! Hope you've found your sunshine!

I looove the way the yarn around the wreath form has some color to it. It looks great, girl! Your plan to change out the "photo" in the center for different holidays is a great one. This will take you through several seasons! :)

PS. I should have a decent Silhouette promo soon! Waiting to hear back from my rep as to the exact details. ;) Just fyi...

Thanks so much for joining my Weekend Bloggy Reading party. :)

Hey there! Silhouette came through on my promo. I listed it on the blog today, if you're interested. If it won't work now, they'll probably offer something over the next few months...but this is a good one. Wishing I had the Home Decor CD!! ;)

I love this wreath! I can't believe it is yarn, it looks like fabric. Thanks for the inspiration!
