To answer your question about the Shark Mop: It doesn't specifically say anything about not using it on laminate. The reviews I read on Amazon (I didn't get through all of them since there were so many!) said that they used it on laminate and loved it. It seems like it would be better than a mop since it dries instantly so you don't have water sitting on the flooring like you do with other mops. I'd think as long as you don't keep the mop in one place for too long (which they say not to do anyway) you should be fine. I'd read some reviews online or see if Shark's website says anything about laminate floors. Hope that helps!
