I'm back from Ohio, I actually came back early because I was suddenly overwhelmed by the amount of stuff I need to do, and the limited amount of time available.
1. Sell the house: Our realtor came by last night to talk with us and see what we've done with the place. She told me I should stage houses as a career, I apologized profusely because I felt the house was messy. Jocko said I need to relax. Good news: our house should show well, and everything we've done (not too much)will add to it's marketability, also the big M will buy the house if it doesn't sell in 90 days. Bad news: it's just not a great market, and if the big M buys the house we lose a nice extra bonus.
2. Find a new house: I was actually a little excited to do this (ok, a lot)and did a few drive-by's while I was in Findlay. Good news: tons of house for sale in Findlay. Bad news: too many options. Do we downsize, upgrade, get a fixer-upper, move right away, wait awhile, live in town, move to BG? It's a headache.
3. Continue to work: My plan was to go into qualification for directorship and start earning my car Dec. 1, I don't know how I am going to fit this in. I have pushed back my personal goals so much that I am starting to feel like a failure. Good news: there's still time, I can do this. Bad news: I need to work my ass off, and I am beginning to doubt myself.

YOU CAN DO IT!! I have faith in you! :) You are NOT a failure!!!
You can do it! When do you think that you'll be moved by? My dad is having his hip replaced on Dec 5th, so we will be in the Toledo area around then!
Don't doubt yourself, my dear. You are perfectly capable of doing all the stuff you have in front of you. Of course you're going to feel overwhelmed (it's a big deal to sell/purchase a home, let alone moving to a different area)... but there is still time for you to accomplish everything!
And I will totally help you look at houses!!!

Ditto on the above comments. Yes, you have a lot on your plate. But I know you'll work through it all.
So MK consultants really DO get a free car??? Is it a pink Cadillac?
that's awesome that the big M will buy your house. cool company. sort of evil, but cool. LOL.
you will do fabulously. i've noticed that the more i have on my plate, the more i get done. i can't imagine how incredibly busy that will be, but you'll do well.
chin up, chica.
Don't fret it, you're not even 30 yet. I should know cause I'm not 4..... Love, ME!!!
Your life is so much fun!!!
Sweet Cheeks, if you can move as often as you have in a three years, you are not a failure by any means! That is a lot of work!
We were having a real estate discussion at my shower last weekend. At least it's a buyers market and people are dropping the prices on their houses to sell them. Okay, I guess that's a double edged sword since you're selling too, but it's great that the longest you'll have to wait to sell is 90 days!
Good luck with everything. It is overwhelming, but I know that you'll make it through with flying colors!
I know when you don't accomplish goals, it feels like such a burden. But Alanna...you are far from a failure. You have been so busy and now you are about to move again. I have faith in you that you can do whatever you put your mind to!!!
Exciting times! I too have moved a bit and know what an overwhelming thing it is. We are selling our condo and I totally understand the stress factor. And I had to laugh when I read the "clean" comment. I never feel like my house is clean enough when strangers come over to view it and criticize. You are a strong woman and I know you will reach all the goals you set for yourself. L&L, Cat
