Here's the short version:
Can you figure out which caption and picture belong together? Why won't any of this line up correctly?
* Dad and John "breaking ground" - yes, that was my white-trash patio in the before stage. Jocko and I started our patio last summer but ran out of time and money, so we had a weedy square in our yard that collected water when it rained, we affectionately referred to it as "The Pool." The tent was there for the guys to get some shade in, it is definitely not a permanent fixture in our yard.
* The layer of crushed rock. Can you see the length of my neighbor's grass? It was seriosly 6" long, we wish they would just move.
* The Pavers
* Mission Accomplished! Jocko, John and Dad ham it up.

It looks great! Totally an improvement!
Yay for no more grass squares! We got our patio furniture this weekend, it was so exciting, good luck picking yours out:)
Such manly job for a manly crew!
It looks great! I love house project pictures. Thanks for sharing! :)
I can't ever seem to load pictures on blogs either. Does anyone have a clue? When I was trying to load belly pics, it kept messing up, so I made a slide show instead. Someone should write a blog entry on how to load pictures...AJ, Laura, Heather, Stephie??? You guys have lots of pics.
It looks as though your house project was a success!!!
Congrats on your patio.. looks pretty sweet. Next you should plant a couple of trees. :)
About uploading pictures... I noticed if you clear your cache in your web browser, it sometimes helps. For Mozilla, I go to the Tools menu, then Options, Privacy, and Clear Cache Now. I don't know what you'd do for Internet Explorer, because it's evil.
Very nice...but now you can't play in the mud :(

I'm with you on the trees, Crystal, the problem is we live on clay and the trees have a hard time. We finally have one rooted well in the front yard, and we do have 3 arborvitae at the very pack of our lot. Plus we back up to a "wooded" area (it's mostly scrub, but it's green) so although we don't have any shade, there is something nice to look at. :)
I will talk to the Z-funk about this.
