That's why I froze the bananas - I usually turn them into bread once I have 3 or 4. But there were about 2 dozen in my freezer, and I think some of them were close to a year old - so I pulled them out and forgot about them and then I came into the kitchen and there was banana innards everywhere!
That's why you need to wash and then dry bananas before freezing, also to put in a bowl to catch those gorgeous banana juices that leak out. But Danielle is right ... they'll make the best banana bread you can imagine.
Yes, that's why they make great banana nut bread...I promise...make some and send it to me...
